Our Vision
"We are in the world on assignment from God to represent God's truth, God's
justice and God's love throughout the world." Pastor Major W. Burrell
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the
gospel of truth as proclaimed by Christ is the foundation of the vision of Peace
Baptist. Moreover, bible based and prophetic preaching is central to the
ministry and vision of our church.
The spirit of the Lord is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach
good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are
bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord...
Peace Baptist mission is to provide community service; the church is compelled
to reach out into the wider community to help those who are in need. Within this
vision is a network provider of social services that feed the hungry, help those in
need of clothing, housing and assistance to meet a life crisis. It is here that we
demonstrate the love of God to a hurting world.
Vision 2006 is currently in operation, and it encompasses a new sanctuary and
educational building equipped with classrooms, fellowship hall, kitchen, office
space as well a church library.
